Seeing God Through The Human Body: A Doctor‘s Meditation On The Human Miracle By Robert Peprah-Gyamfi
Review by BRUCE COLLINS
“Seeing God Through The Human Body: A Doctor’s Meditation On The Human the comprehensive work of Dr. Robert Peprah- Gyamfi and serves as a call to common sense that an Intelligent Creator is behind the miraculous wonder of the human body.
Years ago, when Peprah-Gyamfi was a student in medical school, he endured a steady stream of evolutionary theory- presented as fact- in classes such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology and others. As time passed and his career progressed, he saw that this concept of chance evolution was embraced by a large proportion of his peers. As a medical doctor whose study of the human body is quite extensive, he
sees the extraordinary physical body as overwhelming evidence to an Intelligent Designer.
“Seeing God Through The Human Body” is his presentation of the evidence. Over the course of the book, he furnishes the reader with a mountain of conclusive and circumstantial proof.
Starting with the beginning of human existence, his case begins at the point
of conception. The author convincingly explains the mixing of chromosomal
material to be too complex for it to originate in a world of happenstance.
Dr. Peprah-Gyamfi’s work in “Seeing God” brings into focus the miraculous works of God so often taken for granted. As he points out,” By approximately the fifth week of the union, the individual’s heart has begun to beat. By the end of the fourth week, the spinal cord, muscles, and nerves have become apparent; we can see arms, legs, eyes and ears.”
With an experienced, qualified, highly educated doctor at the helm, the book
examines life in the womb in such detail as to compel reflection of the helpless condition of the fetus and the Creator’s hand in the preservation of that life.
“Seeing God Through The Human Body” discusses the wonder of the various
blood types that course through the veins of men and women. The example given is a mother of type A blood giving birth to a baby with blood group B. By Divine safeguard,” there is no direct mixture of the blood of the unborn child and the expectant mother.”
A body, conceived and created, knows the timing of the baby to be delivered.
Can this really be chance?
Peprah-Gyamfi explains,” We know that when the time comes for us to be born,
hormones flow through the body and result in the contraction of the womb and
the initiation of the labour process.”
Child development also appears to lend credence to an Intelligent Design.
The author explains the age old “chicken vs. egg” dilemna that baffles the
evolutionist. Also, if “survival of the fittest” were universally true, babies should grow and thrive without parents.
Here, the doctor gives us an overview of the early life of a newborn child.
His perspective allows the narrative to clearly illustrate all of the deliberate features, reflexes and characteristics of youth to be indelibly stamped by unsurpassed Intellectual Capacity. What about the brain? It is a mysterious wonder, indeed!
Robert Peprah-Gyamfi writes,” There is no rational relationship between the
soft, jelly-like matter making up the brain and it’s function; what association can we draw between the jelly-like tissue and the airplane or the spaceship it is capable of designing?” Then, he unveils the complexity
of this great gift.
Next, “Seeing God” explores the transmitter of nerves known as the spinalcord. The relationship between the spinal cord and brain is simply amazing. Both are constantly in congruous operation for our benefit.
This body, when placed under the microscope of examination, overwhelmingly
points to a Great Artist.
Peprah-Gyamfi also discusses in incredible detail more fascinating
information on blood clotting, the heart, liver, teeth and other elements of
the human body. A healthy operating body also has regulators such as the pancreas to make sure we perform on appropriate levels. It produces two substances- insulin
and glucagons- for this complicated task.
The kidney, working like a filter, takes water, salts, acids and alkalis from the blood. Can anyone study a body organ, understand its’ purpose and intricacy, and question that this masterpiece was not created?
The entire body, working in harmony, is more detailed than a large corporation and, yet, we deny the One who fashioned all of the components and placed them together.
Dr. Peprah-Gyamfi has written an important book to the academia and peers
who would deny the valid conclusion of truth that is as clear as the nose on
their face.

Body is an interesting and thought provoking book.
