All Things Work Together for Good

In October 1984 I began my medical studies at the Hannover Medical School. Before moving to Hannover,
I spent two years in the then West Berlin as an Asylum seeker from Ghana. During my stay there I worshipped at the
American Lutheran Church in Berlin. It was during the cold war. Germany was divided as a result of World War II. S
everal American soldiers were stationed in West Berlin. The American Lutheran Church was not part of the military
establishment but rather served the English speaking American civilian community as well as other English-speaking
residents of the divided city from various parts of the globe...

I Wish I Could Keep Quiet

Oftentimes I do wish I do not have to do what I have now set out to do. Yes indeed , not very rarely,
I wish for myself I could keep my mouth shut and live my life quietly, out of the public view. As the clock of time
slowly but surely ticks the seconds away to become minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and finally years, so also my
heart, that all these years I have been on planet Earth has dutifully pumped blood to perfuse my body system, will be
at work to keep me and my body system alive.
